The Tourism and Events Research Group (TurEvent) at the Department of Economics, Koszalin University of Technology, Poland, embraces four highly-motivated PhDs in Economics, Econometrics, and Geography (Dorota Janiszewska, Maria Sasin, Luiza Ossowska, and Dariusz Kloskowski). The Group is chaired by Gregory Kwiatkowski, Associate Professor, who has hands-on experience in applying and managing third part-funding and publishing in top international journals.

Cognition & Communication Research Group (CCRG) is an interdisciplinary group of researchers with backgrounds in philosophy, cognitive science, theoretical and experimental pragmatics, linguistics, psychology, and behavioural economics. Its aim is to integrate insights from these different research domains to better understand mechanisms underlying cognitive and communicative processes.

The research interest of the Cognitive Linguistics, biolinguistics team focuses on the study of human linguistic ability (Faculty of Language FL). 
Analyses include: 
- from the perspective of cognitive linguistics and psycholinguistics - meaning conceptualization processes, emotions in language, aspects of embodied cognition, conceptual metaphors, conceptual integration processes, intersubjectivity, semantics of grammatical categories, semantic networks, aspects of L1 and L2 acquisition and processing, and the language-thought relationship,
