It successfully competes with much larger manufacturers of construction materials thanks not only to the quality but also to the flexibility and the individual approach to its clients. It combines its expertise gained through long-term business activities with the cooperation with external R&D centres and laboratories both domestic and foreign. Its contacts with leading European suppliers of raw materials enable it to improve the quality, systematically expand its portfolio and increase the level of the quality of its products.
Thanks to investment in its technological capabilities and establishing a partnership with ZUT the company was able to achieve the status of an innovative company and to introduce the manufacture of photocatalytic paint never before manufactured in Poland. In Europe also, there were very few manufacturers of such products.
Those initiatives were noticed and recognised with the Economic Award of the President of the City of Szczecin in 2009. In 2015, the company received the distinction of Perła Biznesu (Business Pearl) for launching innovative construction materials. But PIGMENT not only stands for business activities. It also conducts activities associated with the natural environment (2014 West Pomeranian Ecology Leader) and community initiatives. In 2019, the company received the title “Gepard Biznesu 2019”.

Basic testing of paints and other construction materials (plasters, putties, grouts) e.g.:
- gloss measurements of coatings at 20° / 60° / 85°,
- viscosity measurements (Brookfield’s method),
- wet abrasion scrub tests ( washability ) according to DIN, ISO standards,
- spectrophotometric colour measurements,
- application tests (brushes, rollers, airless spraying).
Basic testing of new raw materials (dispersions, pigments, fillers, extenders, additives – defoamers, dispersants, antimicrobial agents, wetting agents) in waterborne products for the building industry (paints, primers, plasters, putties, grouts, impregnates, vanishes, adhesives).
